Appalling food, service bizarre with the server telling a customer off for the server having delivered the wrong sandwich to them. Welsh rarebit very strange and unpleasant. Place needs a good clean.

Fast ordering, fast service. Good tucker 🤠. Italian sandwich, chicken ,chorizo, tomato and creamy pesto sauce. Large bowl of homemade soup. £10.50 excellent value, filling and healthy. Well worth a visit. Hidden away on the high street.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great lunch today at the Lunesdale Bakery in Kirby Lonsdale. This was our first visit and I'm sure we'll be back soon. We had the quiche and salad meals which were leagues ahead of what's usually on offer in other cafes. The large portion of quiche was clearly home made and tasted great while the salad was exceptional. Service was quick and friendly and prices are very reasonable.

In passing you look into the window to just check what is on show. At that point you realise passing by would probably be missing out in a massive way. So with no intention of missing out on a good thing or five, we entered to find even more fabulous choice. The rest is history, as we returned shortly afterwards whilst not passing on our return journey from Ruskin's View.
We will definitely be returning soon. The Lunedale Bakery view is equally grand. And before we forget, the staff are warm, friendly and extremely helpful and polite. Exceptional.
As with the butcher's shop close by, well worth driving 50 minutes either way just a week after our first visit. An amazing bakery, and we think a reasonably priced one, due to the amazing quality of everything we have tasted so far.
We are giving a special mention to the sandwiches we purchased today. We are both in agreement that they are simply the best sandwiches we have ever had. They are a meal in themselves as there is no holding back with the contents when they were made freshly a short while beforehand. And the scones are made as we remember scones freshly baked when we were young kids. A flashback of flavour and texture that takes you back memories past. A truly amazing bakers shop.- Food

Excellent bakery and café! It is dog friendly and very cosy, all the staff were welcoming and friendly. There are many gluten free options, including jacket potatoes and sandwiches (which you will receive as a salad instead of with bread). All the portions were huge and we had lots to take home for lunch tomorrow!
